Wireless with Ubuntu

My wireless card arrived today, and I was able to install it pretty easily into my Ubuntu laptop.  I now have an old Dell Latitude C800 running Ubuntu as a semi-permanent fixture in my living room.

I CAN HAZ WIRELEZ?

I finally got off my duff and ordered a wireless card for my old laptop running Ubuntu 7.10.  I picked up the D-Link DWL-G650 PCMCIA Wireless Adapter from TigerDirect for $19.99.
According to the list of supported wireless cards, this card should work just fine with a little bit of effort.
