Last night, I met up with an old friend I worked with during my time in College Park to go see the Eric Clapton-Steve Winwood concert at Verizon Center in Washington, DC. The experience was, to say the least, pretty good. Eric Clapton was in his usual guitar-god state, and Steve Winwood again surprised me with his range. The concert was pretty big on blues, but I think that played to both artists’ strengths quite nicely.
The house was pretty full, and there was no opening act before the main event. Given the careers of both artists, it made perfect sense. Our seats were in the upper level, but even at that distance, I was able to snap some pretty good photos.

Thanks to the Internet, I was able to find out the complete set list.
