As is my wont from time to time, I like to stray into deeply technical details on things. ReiserFS is a filesystem supported on Linux. It takes its name from Hans Reiser, the man who developed the it. Recently, Reiser was found guilty in the murder of his wife, and some of the best coverage of the trial can be found at the Wired Threat Level Blog.
In addition to the numerous features the ReiserFS and its successor, Reiser4, have, it also has a new feature: Murders Your Wife I never knew it could do that! Click the image below to see for yourself.
Perhaps another name for this filesystem could be the OJFS?
Just goes to show you that not everything you read on the Internets is true.
P.S. I know it’s a bad joke, but only on Wikipedia would one find this. After today, I needed this.
