I took Thursday off of work to start the holiday weekend early and to pay a visit to my grandfather. I only stayed overnight on account of some plans on the 4th, but it was good to see him. It was also good to see some my uncle, but my other relatives who live in Ocean Pines were on a cruise and returning on Friday. Unfortunately, I wound up doing a fair amount of work as I dealt with the project I used to work on and also had to deal with some change requests that came in late on Thursday night.
Independence Day was a good time. After I returned from the beach, I grabbed some delicious beers from the Wine Source and headed over to my friends’ house in Federal Hill. Food, beer, good conversation, and an occasionally soggy view of the fireworks ensued. One of the beers that I bought was Hebrew Messiah Bold, a dark nut brown ale that was pretty tasty. Originally purchased merely on the name and label alone, it turned out to be a good choice. L’Chaim!
Saturday wound up being an interesting evening catching up with some friends that I missed over the holiday. We wound up drinking some beers and staying out much later than I wanted to, but the highlight of the evening had to be running into three people I went to Catholic school and have not seen for at least 10 years. Suffice to say that my mind was blown for the rest of the night.
Today, as I wound down the weekend and prepared to get back to work, I grabbed some brunch in Locust Point, enjoyed some good conversation, and had an overall good time. I am going to spend a tiny bit of time gaming on the computer, then I am going to call it an early evening and get ready for work tomorrow.
Another holiday weekend down, and it’s already July! Where has this summer gone?

Jason, It was cool running into you out at the Lighthouse this weekend.
How crazy was that bumping into you, Donna and Rob all in the same night.
I added you to my Skype contact list.
Man, we need to sit down and talk business.
I have some real cool stuff in the works that I want to show you.
You can see my latest project by clicking on my name as the link.
I am writing a book. LOL
I know kindda crazy.
I am sure I was the last person that you would ever think would be writing a book.
If you get a chance come back to the Lighthouse this weekend.
Catching up on old times is nothing but a good time!

@Ryan: Oh no! You found me on teH 1nt3rW3b5!!!
It was good seeing you this weekend too, in, of all places, the Lighthouse. As I said that night, it was truly mind-blowing seeing people I had not seen in quite some time. It was good, but it was truly mind-blowing. I’ll try to swing by this weekend, and we can catch up some more.
