Relaxing

After a whirlwind week in which both Wednesday night and Thursday night into early Friday mornings were long days, I have been relaxing for most of the weekend.  Yesterday was spent with friends at an evening barbecue, and the ribs (extemporized about here) were quite tasty.  Alas, I had to leave earlier than I wanted to on account of a commitment I made to someone else for their party in the city.

I think I need to go enjoy a brunch somewhere, but the question is where in this fair city do I wish to do brunch?  The weather is nice and sunny, and I think I need to go enjoy it!  I will have to see who I can gather up for such an outing on such short notice.

Did you find anywhere to go?

I wound up not going out. I was struggling with where to go following my shower, and I really could not come up with something. I think I might do something for the holiday weekend around the 4th. Time to get some folks rounded up, as I have no desire to go out by myself.

I know it’s a bit late now, but one of my favorite places to go is Miss Shirley’s on Cold Spring Lane. There’s normally a bit of a wait on the weekends, but it’s worth it.

Dude, I regret you felt that you had to drag yourself away from a party you were enjoying, just to make a courtesy appearance at mine. Had I known, I would have bid you to stay where you were having the best time.

@Satevis: Actually, I had a good time at your shindig. I just caught it as it was winding down, so ultimately that was my fault. I just need to be there from the get-go for your next shindig.
