Solid!

I saw Iron Man this afternoon at the Senator.  The movie lived up to the hype, and Robert Downey Jr. was perfect as Tony Stark.  I even found Gwyneth Paltrow to not be as nearly annoying as I tend to find her.  As a friend said, it reminded him of how he felt about the first Spiderman movie.

Look for the Stan Lee cameo, as it is pretty funny.  Also stick around until after the credits are done, as there’s a great teaser at the end of the film for what comes next.

Actually, as short as the teaser was, I’d say to just go home and google it. Or watch it before the movie starts. It doesn’t really ruin much.

    Hey, nerds! Spoiler Alert!
@acw: Yeah, the teaser is already on YouTube. Interesting seeing Samuel L. as Nick Fury. Of course, I can only hope he completes the look with a smoking cigarette in his mouth and a machine gun in his hand.

I like how it sets up essentially a big Marvel superhero movie that is not the X-Men–The Avengers.

@Fairfax: She has some incredibly dumb readers over there, though. Seriously. If I read another sycophant about how “We click on your page 8 times in 10 minutes” or “Allow me to be a brown-nosing commenter.” Some of her readers seem to truly not even push the barriers of the media they seem to cherish.
