WordPress 2.5.1

In case you happened to have missed it, WordPress 2.5.1 dropped on Friday.  It is a release to address a security issue, and it includes over 70 other fixes.  The installation is, as usual, pretty easy.

Go download it, especially if you are running WordPress 2.5.

Security flaw plus 70 other fixes, makes me feel justified about waiting.

While justified, the 2.3.x build had its own security issues. In my case, I want the shiny new stuff, so I will take the flaw. But, I would expect that from a Mac user. ;-)

Yes 2.3.x does have security issues and I took measures to mitigate them which is why I felt comfortable waiting. And I’d expect the Windows user to always be looking for the next shiny new release and installing it right away. :-)
