Accepted and Returned

Last week, I received my formal offer to join Constellation Energy, and I accepted that offer this morning.  I was able to get the salary I was asking for, and a little more.  My official conversion date is 5 May 2008.

I am really happy to now be official, and I am quite happy to be coming on board in the position I am going to be in.  It is going to be a busy but good year.

We shall raise a toast to both of our recent happy employment situations at Happy Hour. Congrats!

Paul, Greg G., and danielle: Thanks for the congrats.

Broadsheet: Indeed, we will need to toast. Mine’s not a completely new gig, but it’s a move from contractor to permanent.

Nicely played, sir. Trading up, whereabouts will they be locating you? or is it the same gig just a different badge?

Alex: I actually don’t change gigs greatly, but I get to deal with the pain of converting my account. Essentially, as others have warned me, nothing will work on the day I convert. Sounds like fun with the Help Desk when that happens.
