My poor car is in serious need of a serious cleaning.  I have taken it to the Auto Spa in Cockeysville on York Road, but I seriously need my car detailed.  I have some sap on the hood, and my interior is in dire need of a good cleansing.  Anyone care to recommend a good auto detailing place around town?

There’s a detailing place out of a garage on S.Carey Street that’s on the block between Wash. Blvd and Ward St. The guys there do great inside/outside detail work and charge a flat $14.95 rate.

The Howard Street Car wash on Howard and 21st street. Always wins best car wash in Baltimore Magazine. Try taking your car through for one of their regular washes before you have it detailed – you may not need to get it detailed. My car got sap on the hood every year, and a regular wash and rinse was all it needed. They hand finish the cars: wipe them down inside and out, do the inside windows, vacuum, the works.

The chaps that detail out of the garage under the galleria are dope. They charge about $100 though. But it is worth it.

AH: Holy crap, that sounds like a good deal! And, I get to represent Pigtown! Westside!!!

Broadsheet: I have used them before, but Washworks always seems way too crowded. The problem of its popularity, I suppose.

bakonista (Poz!): I was figuring on paying that for a detail. I will have to check them out one day on my way home from work.
