Last week, I had been in my new location work for about a week. When I came in that morning, I was greeted with the following addition to my workspace:

Let me describe where my desk is. I am in a much busier area than my old cubicle, and the dividers/walls between the cubicles are not nearly as high. Since there are no name placards to place on the wall, the nametags get placed on our display panels. Sometime over the night before last Wednesday, the “Constellation Nametag Fairy” arrived to place a nametag on my LCD panels.
Now, if I ever do something potentially bad, I won’t be able to blame it on the person in the cubicle next to me. With my name there, it becomes easy to assign blame to me. I can no longer work anonymously. People can find me if they come looking for me. Oh well, anonymity was great while it lasted.

I thought it was so you’d remember your name when you picked up the phone on Tuesday the 18th…
Move to Sunny L.A. where it’s always DST…The northern climes is where it really makes a difference. Now it’s just sunnier and allows me to bust out the grill during the weeknights too.
