For the most part, my Comcast service has actually been pretty reliable and up to my expectations. The service has been pretty rock-solid, and their Internet service has capably met my needs. A couple of weeks ago, I made a call concerning some problems with my OnDemand service, and I opted to try out the HD service with the dual-tuner DVR service.
My OnDemand service is working, but I have now been able to experience the advantage of watching TV at my own leisure. Last night, I DVR’d The Simpsons and Family Guy, and I watched them tonight after taking care of a few things.
The interface is not as elegant as TiVo’s, but I already like the ability to pause shows, watch them at my leisure, and fast-forward through advertisements. Now, I just need to get a TV to really enjoy the HD channels.
