Jason: actually I doubt we'll get permits anytime soon. The only time parking is remotely bad is at Christmas when all the people come down to Hampden to gawk at the lights on 34th.

Lori: My neighbor across the street was on the list, but there were a fair number of people who were denied, as it were.

Paul: Your day in Hampden is coming. It starts with angled parking, and it ends with residential permits. I am fairly certain that some civic-minded residents of Hampden have started looking into this. Enjoy your permits if and when they come, as mine are gratis from the city. The price I pay for living next to a football stadium.

ah: I welcome the invitation to park in front of the Palace, but admittedly the Palace is a half-mile or so away from Stately Thomas Manor. There is also the small matter of my car getting things on it I only see on an episode of CSI: Miami. All I need is to retrieve my car in the morning and see the Baltimore equivalent of Horatio Caine and company looking over my car.

You can park here in the Carroll Park area of Pigtown. No permit parking at all here and it's tumbleweeds for days over this way (as far as parking spaces go). I'll even watch your car. Seriously. You can pull up right in front of the Pigtown Palace.

I'm glad as bad as some of my neighbors complain parking is in Hampden [it isn't] I don't need to deal with getting a special permit to park in my neighborhood.
