It Tasks Me

  • Every time I sit down in the home office, I am reminded of stuff I need to get done.  It’s bad enough I have a list of things to do at a macro level, but I now need separate lists for separate places in the house.
  • Speaking of the home office, I have an old Dell Latitude laptop that does not have built-in wireless that will be replacing the laptop I give my nephew.  Anyone have a solid recommendation for a wireless PC-Card that will work with Ubuntu Linux?  I need to do some research, as I recall from my earlier Linux wireless experiments the old Lucent/Orinoco chipset was the bomb.
  • Another task is to get myself back to the gym and back to my workout routine.  I have let it slip a bit, and I can tell.  Time to rededicate myself to my regimen, including training myself with the running program that worked earlier this year.
  • In an effort to do some wardrobe updating, I availed myself of Jos. Bank’s Cyber Monday Sale.  Free 2-day shipping and a steel on business casual clothing is simply too much to pass up!
  • Speaking of sales, I upgraded my toolbox at home when I went to Lowe’s to purchase some air filters for my furnace.  For $9.99, I picked up a Stanley toolbox that will capably hold my current crap of inadequate tools and whatever I decide to pickup as additions later.  It was a steal.
  • Where the hell has tonight gone?  I got to get to bed in order to hit the gym in the morning.
