My surprise visit to my grandfather went over quite well. He was pretty happy to see me. I had to do some remote work, but we spent some time together in the afternoon. We also went to his doctor’s appointment for his radiation treatment.
He is in pretty good spirits considering. He is scheduled to begin chemotherapy on 16 November. His radiation treatments are taking a small toll on him, as he complained to me about being tired.
It was good to see the old man and wish him Happy Birthday in person.
