  • The trip to Michigan was an enjoyable one.  The weather changed late on Saturday, and it was really good to see my friends and their new home.  They have a nice huge house in Milford, outside of Detroit.  On Saturday, we forayed into downtown Detroit and paid a visit to Nemo’s and passed by the once great Tiger Stadium.  After that, we went closer to Comerica Park and had some drinks at the Hockeytown Cafe.  Following the visit to Hockeytown, we visited both Cheli’s Chili Bar and the Detroit Beer Company.  Once we were done there, we headed down to Ann Arbor to see my Terriers lose the second game of their series at the University of Michigan.  The visit was a good one, though, and I need to get out there again for an extended stay.
  • Work has been pretty busy, but I have enjoyed it to be sure.  One of the reasons for the lack of blogging around here has been the late hours last week for work.  I am glad its a problem I have, though.
  • Tomorrow one of my fellow Pigtown neighbors is having a Halloween party, and I am planning on going.  My problem, of course, is forgetting to get a costume.  I was thinking of going as Peter Griffin, but I would need to swing by the place tomorrow after work to pull it off.
  • I am going to surprise my grandfather with a visit on his birthday on Thursday.  I need to do it, and I know it will do him some good, too.  The old man will be 78, so I need to be there to wish him a good one.
  • I have also upgraded my cell phone to the new hotness.  More on that later.

I’m interested in your tales of the new razr- my new-every-two is coming up soon with Verizon. How does it compare to the e815? Are the bluetooth profiles unlocked? How much did it run you?

I can assure you there will be details, mokie. I like the phone. It is a definite improvement over the e815, but it certainly has its share of wrinkles.
