While at work yesterday, my team was given the order to work remotely today. How awesome is that?!? While the rest of you working schlubs are at the office, I am comfortably ensconced in my home office, working. 
The reason for this order, though, is because this weekend is the weekend preceding the “Go-Live” date for the project I am working on. Consequently, I need to work on-site Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon. Today’s remote workday comes with a price, but I can deal with that. It is one of the reasons I looked forward to taking this job.
Working from home is nice, but having to work on Saturday and Sunday isn’t. Bu as long as you are happy, that’s good.
