Yesterday was apparently Blog Action Day. That was news to me, and a bit off-putting as well.
I read blogs because I like to get varying opinions on what interests me–technology, news, politics, and other odd things. I don’t read blogs so that I can see that every single one is blathering on about the same stupid subject thing. In this case, “Blog Action Day” was to have blogs focus on one subject: the environment. If I wanted to hug a tree, I would do so on my way to work. I don’t need to be admonished to do so when reading my feeds.
Here’s hoping that Blog Action Day goes the way of the dodo.

You missed out, you could have blogged about how you walk to work and look down on all the poor evil people who drive in from far flung suburbs to to their jobs in the city.
well hell, I missed it too and I have about 6 different blogs - how come no one told us?
