- Today was the first day on my new job. So far, so good. All sorts of paperwork, and the paper chase gets better since I am working as a contractor. Fun stuff, and I need to get cracking on all of the various security paperwork.
- It looks like they want me to go to Eau Claire, WI, next week. I don’t mind the travel, but my current financial situation makes this a somewhat precarious situation. Damn my not getting my last chunk of money from my old job as I expected, as it is really wreaking havoc with my personal finances. Worse comes to worst, I will need to work something out with the new gig.
- For some stupid reason, Vista seems to think that every time I put a disk in the drive, I want to burn a CD. I will need to fix that somehow.
- Off to bed, as I am getting up in the wee hours to hit the gym tomorrow.
