I was speaking with one of my former colleagues at UMD, and they mentioned to me the “word on the street” among my coworkers. Of course, I have known these people to lurk on my blog for the longest time, but of course they have always been able to reach me via other means–IM and email.
I decided to have some fun with my .htaccess file and restrict access to my blog from their domain. I also intend to make it redirect them to another page, but that’s a project for tomorrow.
I know this won’t stop Bloglines or Google Reader from indexing my site, but it will stop the most direct route.
