D.C. Bound, and Hating Every Minute of It

As I write this, I am eating breakfast while preparing to go to Washington DC for work.  The more I think about this, the more annoying this gets.  I have to admit that I am a creature of habit and organization.  I like getting up at a certain hour, getting to the gym and spending a specific amount of time there, and coming home to change and leave for the office.

The commute for this client drives me nuts.  I need to completely rearrange my schedule just to be able to meet my colleagues before a meeting I have this morning.  Instead of getting up early and going to the gym for my usual workout, I had to get up and just get ready to go.

Maybe it is just me, but for some reason I detest the idea that work has to so drastically change my routine.

I’ll ask your office mates to stop in your vacant office and rearrange all your books into non-alphabetical, non-categorical order and even put some of them with spines backwards and upside down. And then all hell will break loose!

    Enjoy that drive!

Don’t you have some long, nasty LA commute to make?

And thanks for reminding me of my compunction for order. Ass.
