Rest This Weary Gentleman

For what is the traditional day of rest, I really did very little of that today.  The day started with my cell phone beeping at me, but I did not hear it ring.  Long story short, a family member with Ravens tickets called to offer me tickets for todays game.  I missed out on getting a ticket, which really worked out well since I did not want to spend too much on beers at the football game.

Of course, that did not stop me from doing something I have not done in a while–spend Sunday afternoon with some friends at a bar drinking beers.  Thus, I compensated in quantity for cost, consuming beers and watching the games at City Limits.  When will I ever learn.  Of course, the weekend was not as relaxing as I would have liked it to be, but I had a good time.  I caught up with a good friend last night, and on Friday night I enjoyed a small bar crawl around town.

As I write this, I am a bit tired and weary after a long weekend.  Time for me to get my old ass to bed and get ready for a busy week.
