The last week has been busy for me: visits to client sites and working at night from home to catch-up on the other stuff. I have been so looking forward to the weekend just to relax. Of course, the weekend is just full of other stuff I need to get done.
Here’s a brief rundown of what I have been up to over the last few days.
- On Thursday night, I decided that I was “all in” for my Halloween costume. Being semi-original and knowing my love of 24, I have decided to go as Jack Bauer from Season 5. I even colored my hair blonde. I just need to hit the market to get a couple of other wardrobe items to complete the look.
- Last night, I enjoyed watching the final game of the World Series. My regrets to Tigers fans (sorry Epiph), and my congratulations to Cardinal fans. I was having fun sending text messages to my best friend in St. Louis who was at the game. All I can say to Tigers fans is look forward to next season, as unlike my Orioles, your team is a couple of hitters away from truly competing with that pitching staff.
- Today, as part of the regulatory rigmarole for Social Services, I had my fingerprints taken at the Criminal Justice office on Reisterstown Road. Obviously, with the technology these days, fingerprints no longer require ink. That shows you the last time I was fingerprinted–when I was a kid in elementary school. I expect the background check to be completed without a problem, and that should make the social services types happy.
- Tonight, I am off to enjoy some German beer and food at an Octoberfest in Stoneleigh with some friends. I have been looking forward to this all week. Beer and brats=good.
