Apparently, my new office is just like my old office. When I opened the door this morning, I was greeted with the feel of a stuffy office. Nothing like coming to an office that is unbearably warm. I never liked this “feature” at my old office, and I am growing to not like it now.
In my old office I had things in the office that did not help matters. I had a small refrigerator and servers used for research and development. My new office only has my workstation–which I keep on–so I really do not have much contributing to the warmth of this office. Nonetheless, my new office felt just as bad as my old office would feel in winter.
Time to have a chat with both building maintenance and the powers-that-be here. I tolerated a hot office for too long at my old job, and I will not do the same here.
Dude you have a door? Wow you must be big timing it.
My cubicle rarely gets stuffy unless the whole floor is messed up.
And my cubicle only holds a laptop, a desktop and a bunch of crap.
No refrig for me there.
So pull up your big girl panties and stop bitching.
