My attempt to attend tonight’s Beanpot Championship has been dashed upon the rocks of weather. AirTran rebooked me on a flight for tonight, which was just not doable given that I would arrive following the game. Doing so obviously defeats the purpose I had in mind. I am disappointed and a little angry. If I had an inkling of how bad this storm was going to be, I would have rebooked the flight to early this morning as opposed to playing the flight shuffle I did yesterday.
I suppose one good thing comes of this, though. I should be able to rebook my flight to fly up for my planned 10 Year Reunion in May. So, to AirTran, I say take that!
As for the Beanpot, I will be at Captain Larry’s beginning at 7 PM, taking over one of the televisions to watch my Terriers whoop up on BC, with my hockey jersey on and a beer in hand.
