It appears as though my travel plans to Boston for Monday night’s Beanpot game are going to be subject to whatever happens with the weather. The forecast calls for anywhere from 6″-12″ of snow in the Baltimore area, with the snowfall being done by Sunday. The forecast for Boston calls for the snow to stop sometime Sunday afternoon.
In any event, that means that I am looking at some substantial travel delays, if not an outright cancellation. It figures that the mild winter rears its ugly head only when I want to actually travel to see a hockey game I have never seen in person and to catch up with some friends.
Caught the weather last night – they’re saying right now the greater Boston area will get up to a foot of snow, starting Saturday around dinner and ending Sunday afternoon. My advice – cancel your flight, wake up early Saturday morning, and drive up. Good luck.
