- I am experimenting with Performancing for Firefox, an extension that allows blogging from within Firefox. It works much along the same lines as Deepest Sender, and I have kash to thank for pointing it out to me. Of course, since my blog’s theme is his handiwork, I have more than one thing to be in his debt for. 😉
- Congratulations to U2 on their Grammy haul, as I heard on NPR’s Morning Edition as I awoke.
- I need to get to bed at a decent hour. The last two nights, I have gotten to bed late. That makes it harder for me to hit the gym, since it tends to get a bit crazy at 6 AM. Of course, I have been shocked at the amount of new equipment my gym just added, so maybe the crowds are not as bad. There is a side benefit: I have been getting to the office the last two days earlier than I normally do, allowing me to get things done with no one in the office.
- I really like coComment. It makes it easier for me to track my comments, and I have been using it for a little more than a week thanks to these posts. The problem I have with commenting is that it takes me away from being able to scan things. In order to follow conversations, I would need to remember to visit the site again. That was just a nuisance. I now no longer need to visit sites independently to follow the conversation, as I can merely go to coComment and see all of my various comments. It is still not quite complete–Blogger blogs that use Haloscan do not work with it as of this writing. Nonetheless, I like it since it allows me to continue to exist from within the confines of my aggregator. Go sign up for it!
- For some reason, last night I was reminded of how I have some truly good friends. To that friend, thanks for lending me an ear last night. It was a good conversation–even if it took place over IM.
- Zenchick has become a year wiser. Congratulations, and many happy returns.
Time to get back to work. I have some WSUS and Perl work to get done today.
