Last night, BU beat Harvard 5-3 in the Beanpot to advance to the Finals next Monday. Considering that some college friends and I have tickets to the final game next week, this is a good thing. It would have sucked to buy the tickets to the Final just to see my alma mater play in the consolation game.
In continuing their dominance of the tournament, the Terriers have won 39 of their last 43 appearances in the Beanpot semifinals. Next Monday, they go after their 27th Beanpot Championship. Even more fitting, arch-nemesis BC is playing against BU in the final. It should be fun to actually chant “BC Sucks!” and have a large group of fans actually join in with me. For obvious reasons, I get very few people to join in on that chant with me in Baltimore.

Play in the Hockey East and play BC on a regular basis, then talk to me. Look who also has a 9-game winning streak. Oh, that’s right, the Terriers.
