TGIF?

  • Waiting for the replacement hard drive to arrive from Dell today.  It would appear that I am indeed a miracle worker, as I was able to pull all the data off of the failing hard drive before it just became too darn hard to access.  Worship and adulate my technical prowess!
  • Last night, I talked to my buddy concerning a visit to St. Louis to take in a ballgame at the new Busch Stadium.  Looks like a summer visit to St. Louis will be in order.  It is also a small continuation of my effort to visit every ballpark.  That also means I will be redeeming myself with a visit to Los Angeles for my West Coast peeps.
  • Enjoyed the pound and (not-quite) a pitcher special at Capt. Larry’s last night.  The steamed shrimp are so damn good!  I called it an early evening, and then I spent some time staying up late again this week.  It has been a trend of late night phonecalls for me, but I have to admit to liking the trend.
  • Looking forward to a nice weekend, but I need to reschedule a visit to my grandfather for next weekend.  There are some things I need to get done this weekend.  That will not be a problem, though.
