In what has to be one of the more entertaining things to happen to me in my time here, it would appear as though I get paid a lot of money to do the following things:
- Burn 7 CDs containing a Word document, although all workstations at the office have CD burners installed in them
- Label said CDs appropriately with a Sharpie, even though I have no intimate knowledge of the project or the contents of the document on the CDs
- Edit Excel spreadsheets such that items in one sheet are linked to those in another sheet, which is apparently an incredibly hard operation.
Apparently, these tasks are in agreement with my job description.
